Juice Cleanse in Miami? Read This Before You Buy

Our juices are literally named 'Cleanse' — and we still think you should read this before buying a 3-day program.

Awkward disclosure: half our juice menu has “Cleanse” in the name. So when people ask if they should buy one of Miami’s 3-day, $135, 18-bottle detox programs, they expect us to say yes. Here’s the more honest answer.

What the programs promise vs what juice does

The Miami cleanse market is thriving — 3-day, 5-day, even 21-day programs promising weight loss, “cellular rebuilding” and organ resets. The chemistry underneath is simpler:

ClaimWhat’s actually happening
”Detoxes your body”Your liver was already doing that, free of charge
”Lose 5 lbs in 3 days”Mostly water and glycogen — returns with your first meals
”Total body reset”The real reset is 3 days without processed food and alcohol
”Feel amazing”Some do; the protein-free deficit also taps muscle to get there

The behavioral kernel is real: a structured break from garbage inputs feels great, and for some people the ritual of a short cleanse is what makes the break happen. If that’s you — keep it short, hydrate, and go in with open eyes.

The habit that beats the fast

Everything a cleanse promises, a daily vegetable-forward juice next to real meals delivers without the downside: micronutrients up, processed sugar down, protein intact, muscles unbothered. That’s the entire design of the Gorilla Press line — pressed every morning, $8 for 16oz, zero subscription:

Pair the juice with real protein and you’ve built the sustainable version of what the $135 box sells for a weekend. (We unpacked the cold-pressed science itself in the honest juice guide.)

Our actual advice

If a short cleanse gets you to quit the drive-thru for three days, we’re not the fun police. But if the goal is feeling better permanently, the boring math wins: one fresh juice a day, real food around it, protein present. $8 a day, no shipping box, pressed while you watch at Kendall Drive or Cutler BayCash App if you’re in a hurry to be healthy.
